x STATUS
STATUS is the standardised tenant satisfaction survey, developed by the National Housing Federation in 1999. The questionnaire was originally developed for housing associations, the Department for Communities and Local Government soon commissioned a local authority version. The questionnaires were updated in 2007 and versions are now available for Housing for Older People, Supported Housing and Home Ownership. It has long been recognised the benefits of such approach, understanding resident satisfaction is an important standard for judging overall business performance. Standardised questionnaires allow social landlords to benchmark their performance with other providers and collect national performance indicators.
